Shipping policy

Production & Shipping Times

All of our products are printed on-demand just for you. This process requires two steps:

  1. Production (Fulfillment): This is the time it takes to create your items. Our fulfillment time is typically 5 – 10 business days.
  2. Shipping: This is the time it takes for the carrier to deliver your order after it has been produced.

We ship worldwide! Our goal is to get your order to you as quickly as possible by using a global network of production partners. This means your items are often made and shipped from within your own region, which is faster, greener, and often reduces customs fees.

Estimated Shipping Times (After Production)

  • USA: 5-10 business days
  • Europe & UK: 4–28 business days
  • Canada: 4–28 business days
  • Australia & New Zealand: 5–10 business days
  • Rest of the World: 10–30 business days

Please Note: These are estimates, not guarantees. The final, most accurate shipping times and options for your specific order will be displayed during the checkout process.

Shipping Rates

Shipping costs are not flat-rate. They are calculated live at checkout based on:

  • Your delivery address
  • The total weight and quantity of the items in your cart
  • The shipping method you select (e.g., Standard, Express)

To see your shipping cost, simply add your items to your cart and proceed to the checkout page. All costs will be clearly displayed before you are asked for payment.

International Orders & Customs Fees

Because we have production partners in key regions (including the US, Canada, Europe, the UK, and Australia), many international orders will ship domestically, meaning you won’t have to pay customs fees.

However, if your shipping address is in a location without a local partner, your package may be subject to import duties and taxes (including VAT). Board Game Gear is not responsible for any customs fees or import duties. These charges are the sole responsibility of the customer.


Order & Shipping FAQs

How Can I Track My Order? You will receive a shipping confirmation email as soon as your order has been produced and handed off to the carrier. This email will contain your tracking number.

Can I change my shipping address? Because orders are automatically routed to our partners, it can be difficult to change an address. If you notice an error, please contact us at support@boardgamegear.com immediately with the subject line “URGENT: ADDRESS CHANGE.” We cannot guarantee changes if the order is already in production.

My order says it was delivered, but I don’t have it. Please check with family members, neighbors, or your building’s mailroom. Sometimes, carriers mark packages as “delivered” a few hours before they arrive. If your order doesn’t appear within 24-48 hours, please contact the shipping carrier directly with your tracking number, and then let us know.
